I am writing this in reverse, I started with events as the unfolded back in 2001 and will bring it up to the present day with me being disabled and all but housebound in chronic pain 24./7, but this will take time so check back often...

Having had a fair few cases of cancer in my family within the last five years including both my parents i have an idea of how you must have felt whilst going through your treatment. The word itself is very hard to hear and obviously however early the diagnosis we all naturally think death... But you have come through a lot and i am so pleased to see that you got treated early enough. You also sound like you had a very supportive partner to help you deal with this. People who have had to deal with cancer are some of the bravest people i've ever met.
